I have a G5 running 10.4.3. I installed Shapeshifter 2.2 and the Cathode Beta 6 theme. My system became very crashy, to where any application I tried to print from would freeze, and word processing programs would freeze when I clicked on text. I uninstalled Shapeshifter and trashed the preferences, but the crashiness remained and the Finder icon and Trash icon in the dock remained with the Cathode icons. I reinstalled the OS and all is well. In the meantime I contacted Unsanity support; they got back to me after a few days and told me to uninstall Shapeshifter, which of course I had already told them I did.
