My name is David Remahl and I am the developer behind Can Combine Icons.
There were serious issues on my side during spring/summer 2005. Due to technical difficulties as well as changes in my professional life, some customer mail bounced or went unanswered.
These problems have been resolved. The people who tried to register during this time have been fully refunded according to their wishes. Registrations are now processed promptly. A new version of the program is in the late stages of development. Unfortunately, the source that was used for 3.0.5 has been partially lost. Therefore it is not feasible to fix minor bugs in that version.
While CCI 4 will be a paid upgrade, anyone who registers now will receive a complimentary upgrade. In the future, reference this note and a previous CCI 3 registration during 2005 in order to qualify for the free upgrade.
I hope that this note will disperse rumors of ITTPOI's demise, and that people will consider registering the program and upgrading in the future. Also, my apologies to those who are experiencing minor flaws in CCI 3.0.5. If you are bothered by them, please contact me at david@ittpoi.com, and I will do my best to help find a work-around.

You want to stop rumors? - Central Scrutinizer--2008
Then fix your damned app!It doesn't work in Tiger. How can you charge good money for an app that is BROKEN?
Here is the problem: Tiger's finder displays icons created by CCI with a white outline of whatever icon was pasted onto the folder icon. The folder displays fine. Obviously, this is not a "minor" bug, as it renders the entire application useless.
I paid for this app believing that development would continue, and that it would at the very least work with Tiger. Boy was I ripped off. If the developer had a conscience, he would send refunds to all registered CCI users, with apologies for prematurely abandoning his app.

Apologies & reassurances - stardog2000
As of 1/19/06 I find links to the developers website broken and email to him returned undelivered. I am interested in registering the program but lieu of this situation and past difficulties with other clients some serious reassurance (Version 4 being posted, email dialog etc) will be necessary for me to think about proceeding.Reply to This
