I tried this application and quickly lost 4 folders (4gigs) of data. Until I can figure this one out, this app is a loser-beware!

Files are not lost! - jaanOne

Please verify you have copied eyeHide to your hard drive and not, like some people launched it from the mounted disk image.
Now it is obviously that eyeHide did not delete anything, the prefs just "tell" the app there is no folder...

The invisible folder you have created is on your drive, just grab some tool that shows hidden system files, and look for it in the path you have created it!

BTW. Why not first try to tell the developer, from within the applications that you have chosen to try ! I believe you get quick help from any dev. At least i would have liked to help you personally.

Whoa, you tried a new application on files without a backup? Consider this a lesson.
