As much as I want to like/use this, it keeps crashing even with my two test folders of 2 fonts each-- when I activate, then deactivate the individual fonts...

This might help. Under its Tools menu, run both the Clean Font caches options (one for system, the other for applications). Then optimize your font database (Tools menu). If that doesn't help, Download and run a cache cleaner like Cache Out X or Cocktail (I use the former), and clean all your caches, swap files, and virtual memory with that. ALWAYS restart your computer after doing this. Also, be sure to repair your disk permissions using disk utility on your startup drive. Any time I have trouble (so far never with LTFX) with the system or apps, 99% of the time this takes care of the problem. And in LTFX's preferences, be sure it's set to check for and repair damaged fonts. I believe you can do it also under the Tools menu. If all of the above fails, delete its Preference file in your preferences folder (make sure you quit the program). Hope this helps.Reply to This
