I encoded a few TV episodes last night to watch on a transatlantic flight today. One of them cut out seven minutes in for some reason, though the rest were perfect, hence the four star rating. It's very strange; all are around the same size (120MB or so); it seems that one particular episode was encoded as a bad MP4 or something.

Please download again! The latest version as of this posting is 2.3 and it may solve problems.

Initial impressions update - Richard Bannister

An update to my earlier impression; of the six episodes I encoded, only one made it through to the end. All the others stalled the iPod at different times, some as much as twenty minutes in, others earlier on. I guess there's a bug in there somewhere...

Please try the new version (2.3) and if you still have a problem, either email me or post some particulars here like the name of a source file that won't convert to a file that plays properly, the size of that file, what software you've used to play the file succesfully, the data rate you're using in No Frills DVD2iPod, etc. Thanks.
