OK, after installing Firefox 1.5, there are a few bugs that I've noticed which actually wound up screwing me a few times before I figured out what the problem was.

#1: Since installing this version, when I drag and drop an image from a website to my desktop, Firefox saves the image as a ".bin" file and not the ".jpg", ".png" or ".gif" files that they are. EVERY file saves as a ".bin" file, only if I right click and "save image as" does it save correctly. Although not a HUGE problem, it's just easier to drag and drop. Afterall, that's what makes the Apple experience so great... "DRAG and DROP", right?

#2: Downloading ".zip" files which have been compressed using Apple's BOMArchiveHelper through Firefox come up as "corrupt" f iles and can not uncompress using ANY application. Though when downloading the exact same file using Safari, there are absolutely ZERO problems and the files unzip perfectly fine.

#3: After a few hours of running the application and surfing, text entry areas in a webpage and including the URL + search bar up top do not allow you to type into them.

#4: Sometimes the browser just hangs and hangs and hangs when loading a page, though the same page loads quickly in Safari at exactly the same time.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just a few enhancement ideas...

I would like to see the "close window 'X-mark' " on each tab, ala Safari-style.

Would be nice to see the form buttons, drop-down menus, etc... look more "Aqua-ish".

Would be very nice to see when you copy and paste text from websites, that like in Safari, it maintains colors, fonts, sizes, etc... that are on the page.

Still love Firefox but can't continue to use it for work since it is more cumbersome to use now because of those little flaws as I need my browser to work flawlessly. I would think that others would too.

I'm not experiencing the drag-and-drop problems that you are. Anyhow, you'd be better served by going to the Mozilla.org Web site and reporting all your issues.

Incidentally, run, do not walk, to <https://addons.mozilla.org/> and download Tab X. That will solve your tab-feature wish.
