Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

A new email client doesn't appear in a void. If you want me to switch to Thunderbird (like I have from Safari to Firebird) you have to make it possible. That means giving me the tools to bring in all the mail I have stored in my current app (Mail), the ability to import my AddressBook contacts, the ability to somehow interface with AddressBook (since things like syncing to my Treo depend on that), etc.

Give me those features, and I'd think about switching.

Nope -- I agree - Bodhisattva108

I am in shick that thunderbird doesn't use the Mac OS X Addressbook, and doesn't import from Mail.app either.

Also it would be a good idea for any email application to work with .mac!

I wonder if the Mozilla developers for Mac actually read these comments.
