Issue with Time format

Feedback Type:  Review

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I tried Menustrip 3.0.5. Looks pretty good for what I have tried, but there is one detail that annoys me so much I doubt I will use this until fixed.
One of the first thing I noticed was that the time is displayed in the wrong format (no matching the System preferences). So I went to change the clock format to 24-Hour since I cannot stand the AM/PM format.
Two problems:
1- The 3 alarms in the Preferences are still showing in AM/PM format. This is unacceptable to me.
2- The time in Menu strip does not show a 2-digit hour. For instance, when the time is 01:25, it shows as 1:25. This may seem a detail, but it is annoying. Mac OS X displays 01:25 when the time format is set as 24-Hour.

Why on earth do I have set the date and time preference in MenuStrip when I already have done so in System Preferences/Sate & Time ???? Why not just fetch the system setting and replicate them exactly in MenuStrip, and in all places (i.e. incl. the alarms!)?

Note: I am giving no rating since I haven't tried it enough
