Excellent - and still alive - Ataritox

Question?:
So if I already have Pearl Lyrics on my Mac it will continue to get the lyrics? This is because the websites it retrieves them from are still up and running. Is this a correct assumption. I keep reading about there being no more "Pearl Lyrics" but mine seems to be continuing to gather lyrics. I wish someone would clue me in on this because I am curious:)

Thanks for the link - I had lost my copy when my disk died and couldn't re-download it.

Of course your copy will continue to work, as long as the search sites are available. And even then, the lyrics you have on file should display in the window.

For some reason (I did not read all the argument), the music industry is going after this program with questions of copyright infringement (from what I gather). The artists do, in fact, own their music and lyrics. Many of them include the lyrics with the recording, and all of them sell the lyrics with the printed music. The excuse the contact lawyer seemed to use had to do with inaccuracies of the lyrics on these public sites.

I seem to recall that someone tried to go after some of the lyric search sites several years ago, but they seem to be back. Now they're going after an automatic search routine? If the artists want us to have accurate lyrics, they should publish them on their websites (for example, bobdylan.com has all his lyrics)

I just like to read the lyrics as the music plays.... I don't mind searching for them myself. What can I say?
