Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I have used Rsync on with Mac OS X and an external DOS-formatted hard drive (to be compatible to my MS-DOS laptop.

The backup ran once, and then refused to do anything after that, i.e. I asked for an incremental backup, it asked me for my password - and nothing happened in the command shell.

Maybe it's the MS-DOS format of the HD, but I have no way of finding out - the programmer did not reply to me.

DOS hard drive is not recommended for System Backup or even an installer files...etc. Some files embedded within installer package will not work correctly on DOS hard drive. DOS hard drive is only good for simple file format such as Word, Photoshop documents etc.
