Existing users, 
1. I am a HUGE StickyNote fan but this upgrade is not worth any money. It should be free. Bottom line they got it to open faster. Probably a newer version of the Database made the speed increase.
The speed increases didn't come as a result of the database. We actually spent almost two months optmizing our database schema, queries, etc. As previously mentioned, we added the features that have been most requested: Spotlight compatibility, built-in web browser, abilty to store pdfs, images, movies, files, web archives, etc. We understand if these features aren't important to you and we hope that the next upgrade will be a better fit:) We welcome any specific feature requests you have since we truly want to focus on features that are most important to users.

I like version 4, but I concur the writer: this should have been a free upgrade. Perhaps it's timing. It seems that version 3 just came out and we were getting used the interface and I think, really being impressed with something that is actually very helpful. And then (or at least to the average user) another version comes along at a price (roughly 2/3 of the cost).Timing I think is the sore spot here.
