Well after trying to resolve my issues with this new release of the game (see prior commentary) and having given ample opportunity for the developer to address the problems, I'm posting my review of the game. Islands mini-golf is a good example of Danlab's games... fun, colorful, and creative in the environments provided for each golf hole. Lining up shots with the golf ball is also very straight forward and simple to master... one of the best, IMO. One problem I have with the game though is that you only get a brief overhead view of each hole's game field before the camera view snaps to the ball. The problem with this is that sometimes I have trouble planning my shots because I simply am unsure of the layout of the field, and there apparently is no way to manipulate the camera view to get a second look.

I must also take the time here to gripe and issue a forewarning about the support provided by Danlab. Quite frankly, it's pretty much nonexistent. As in my previous post, I indicated I had a problem in which on my main user id on my Mac, I was unable to enter my registration number due to a faulty startup prompt that was completely black. On alternate user ids, launching the game would lock up my computer. After writing for help, I was eventually sent a new version of the game to try. The game now took my registration details and worked flawlessly on my main account, but crashed on all other alternate accounts, even a new "clean" one that I had made expressly to test this out. Unacceptable. At least this time I had a crash report that I could easily copy and send on to Danlab Games. That was 3 months ago. I have received no responses to various inquiries since, and certainly no resolution. Not so much as a thank you for the crash report data. Danlab... I hope you are enjoying yourself as you laugh all the way to the bank with my registration fees that I paid long before you developed this "new and improved" version of the game. I know I'm not laughing, and I also know it's the last dime you'll ever get from me.

Customer support: virtually nonexistent - CNH

I have to agree. My experiences with the company have been equally fruitless and frustrating.
