Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Had to download and look for myself. This is ugly! Could have been designed by an old inexperienced HyperCard user. As for the argument that it is cross platform... it is still ulgy regarless of platform. Photoshop, QuarkXPress and even Word are cross platform and they are not ugly. Cross platform may be a reason but it is hardly an acceptable excuse. The poor design makes this very difficult to look at, difficult to follow and probably use. Can't bring myself to even try...I've trashed it already.

Design is part of functionality so even though the application might do the accounting thing wonderfully the interface is sends a different message. My guess is that the vendor will loose 50% or more of its potential market from a bad first impression.

Mojolive is Right - sloop1

I did download this and you are right, it is ugly. I define ugly as an old, outdated looking app that may have only been updated with some automated back-end program from Apple. The interface is really bad, since I am a PC convert using QuickBooks, I cannot transfer any knowledge from QB to this app as I feel I taking a step backwards in time and technology, This has a Windows 3.11 and Mac OS6 feel to it. I won't spend $600 on something that has never had a major overhaul, just updates...

Mojolive is Right - macnavi

A Mac looks good. Programs on the Mac should look good. It is not that difficult. A bad user interface is for me one of the main reasons not even to try this. I've been turned off by it already, without even knowing the app. If it was attractive and that means also easy to use, I was interested. But in this product I'm definately am not.
