Question: why can't I get the option of using the last folderl lets say for my documents? I can't seem to get the customized folder to work or add anything to this so I can look up anything but applications/utilites.

Addendum - Dr.S.

HimmelBar recognizes only applications.

But, when I use Automator to open a particular document and save the resulting mydocument.app into the custom folder, HimmelBar will open the corresponding document.

Thus, I made the System Preferences manageable from Himmelbar (in spotlight click mypreference-info and then control-click the corresponding preference icon)!
