I've tried it in the DEMO mode (15 second limit), and i have to say that it works. But right now i'm not very satisfied of the result: i tried saving with "Highest Movie Quality", then with "Smallest File Size", and finally with a middle configuration... and i got 3 files with identical size and quality.
I hope to see a new release with working settings, right now i don't find it very usefull (and it costs quite too much, in my opinion).

The quality slider sets the frequency of key frame usage in the encoding. There are a couple of reasons why this may or may not have a dramatic effect on your file size. To understand how the quality slider works take a look at our FAQ page: http://www.polarian.com/faq.phpWednesday, December 14 2005 @ 08:47 AM PST
Flash Player Requirements - leefalin
Actually end receivers only need Flash Player 7 or higher. Which according to this survey is already available in 91% of US and 93% of European internet users. Where as QuickTime, (according to this survey) has only a 66% penetration. Now of course this comes from Macromedia so there is obviously a reason to bias so take this (and all statistics) with a grain of salt.Wednesday, December 14 2005 @ 09:08 AM PST

not to be a total shit head,BUT ! your add says that you can save files to quick time or I would never have purchased this stupid thing, 90 % or 60% europe or the U.S , if it doesn't create a useable and accessible product I could live on the moon and still not use it , does it save to quick time or not I have zero interest in yet another " Player for my computer" to placate an un useable application screen capture must pose some sort of threat, to the pubahs that dont want people using it to capture for free what could be making them yet more big bucks, I have flip for mac, windows media player which sucks, adobe flash player , and macromedia flash player real time and of course the industry leader you claim to serve in the bait you plant with the option to download this application in demo to capture 5 seconds of video , Id be thrilled with 2 seconds if it worked your

The advertiser only needs to to provide what they hawk, where do you get off advertising compatibility with Quicktime and then post your self that IT ONLY WORKS IN FLASH PLAYER ?? we aint in europe, and 60 % is still the majority this is robery

not that great - bakari
I have to agree. I tried the same three resolution sizes and got the same results. Plus, there seems no way to convert the recording to another image format like QuickTime. So end receivers will have to download Flash Player 8 to see the movies. I like the idea of this app and hope see it improve in future updates. Not quite worth the current price.Reply to This
