Good GUI but... - stevenf@panic.com

Hi there,

What does Unison not do that you'd like it to do? Please let us know, or we can't fix it!

Best regards,

I'd say mainly "group search" and a lot of details, like mark an entire group read, mark other read, basically all the features that thoth have.

marking all headers read without downloading as thoth can is something i'm waiting for as well. sometimes i just want to occasionally check out some of the large binary groups, but don't want to always have to download a million header's to get caught up.

Other features I can't do without:
- the "don't open new conection when checking for new articles" option
- download binaries manually

And an option for small icons n the lists would be great (but this is a minor detail).

Unison seems great but not really as "pro" as thoth, but maybe in the future, I'm still excited about unison (since thoth is not developped anymore).

When I say "mark the entire grop read" I'm speaking of doing this in the favorite window", and by search I'm also talking about doing this directly in the fav window.

Another thing, it's very conveniant to open all the group from a fav. group in the same time, just to avoid opening each one separatly.

And then there is Newsleecher's Super Search function. Or the ability to specify 2 different news swervers to download from, each with their specific number of connections.

Now that would push Unison in the pro leaque and enable me to ditch Virtual PC, and enjoy my registered copy of Unison fully.
