Existing users, 
I use this software to communicate with a friend on a Mac. It's less CPU intensive for him and therefore better than Skype. It ran well on my computer (P4 3Gb XP) until their latest update which has clashed with something.
In normal use it is a bit slow to log in and get going but it offers the full Skype service at lower cost and uses SIP rather than its own proprietary protocol.
All round, worth a try.
