This is not freeware- and if I am gonna use a beta, I am surely not going to PAY for it. Even when it's final- I am not paying for this. Unless they haven't updated their read me file, after 10 days, they expect you to pay for it, or 'be in violation of copyright law'. Well, having seen that, forget it. What's the point of Plaxo being free for all, having free software for windows and then charging Mac users for the same functions in softare? Change it or no thanks.

It IS Freeware - dennis_k_taylor
The read me for .96 is not changed. I will try it though, I am just not comfortable being in 'possible violation of copyright law' for doing so...Thursday, December 08 2005 @ 08:00 AM PST
NOT FREEWARE. - Marook2
And so what if they decide to charge for it? This is NOT a product from Plaxo, but from a 3.th. party developer, that is trying to help out in a void area on the Mac.Although I think Plaxo should just step up and pay these guys for the work, I would be happy to send a few $ their way for their efforts!

It IS Freeware - e2Sync
Though it may change in the future, we are providing the software for free for now. We will update the license agreement to reflect this in the next beta build.Reply to This
