Existing users, 
...the silly download doesn't expand properly. my bad, i double-clicked the archive and stuffit expander 9.0.x tried to expand the archive...BAM! then i tried to expand with 10.0.x and it expanded to /dev/null.
guys, would it kill you to test this before offering it for purchase/download? in addition, how can a single attempt to download be met on the second go-around with an error to the effect "hey, you downloaded this 7 times...sorry!"
i can't BEGIN to tell you how irritating this sort of incompetency is...

Dude! Chill OUT! After almost 10 years you can certainly stand to wait a little while longer! :-) I had some trouble too, but mine was connecting to the server to download. Once that was straightened out on their end, it downloaded, expanded and installed perfectly. You are focusing on procedural stuff, not providing feedback about the program. Once it is installed, run it for a while and then about how you like it. I am personally so happy that this has happened I can hardly stand it! :-) For a long time Fontographer was the only app that I ran. The only reason I quit running it was because it was too depressing to have to start Classic mode every time I booted. So far, I am very, VERY happy with the update, and I am going to continue to pay for them because I don't want to have to be without FOG ay longer! :-) Peace fellow FOG dude!Saturday, December 10 2005 @ 03:39 AM PST

It worked great for me, as well. I'm very happy to have Fontographer ported to Mac OS X. I bought it originally from AltSys and upgraded with Macromedia, but Macromedia ignored it. I'm glad FontLab has it. Contact them. They will straighten out your problem. You may have better luck if you can the old version of StuffIt. Just use the latest version. I had the same problems with the European download location. Then I tried the of the US locations and the .hqx file was expanded with StuffIt Expander without any problems. Try choosing the US location.Michael
