Troubleshooting (taken from web site):

First thing to do is reboot your machine as Dashboard has problems that appear after extended periods of time.
If hyper-linking stops working simply press R to refresh the current screen.
If the widget does not respond to key presses, click on it.

Tried everything - fiasormae1

Version 1.2 has been working perfectly on my iMac G5, but since updating to 1.3 it doesn't.
I've tried all the things suggested, i.e. rebooting, the R key etc., but still no joy.
The Ceefax screen is just black and when it is turned round with the "i" button it still says version 1.2 and a button for updating to version 1.3. Tried clicking the update button on the reverse of the window and also downloading from version tracker and the website for 1.3. I have also tried deleting the app. and the preference file.
This has happened at least 6 times and I am on the verge of giving up. Still says version 1.2 and an update button on the reverse of the window.

Tried everything - msephton

Installing a new version may require manual replacing of the widget. In other words, you may need to delete the old widget and then install the new one.

First of all thank you for taking the time to reply, much appreciated. I did as you suggested, i.e. deleted the old widget and then just dragged the downloaded new widget ver. 1.3 into the Users/name/library/widgets folder and now it works like a dream, no problems whatsoever. The reverse also says version 1.3 as well. Fantastic widget, the best and most used of my collection. Thanks for taking the time and effort to produce it. Brilliant!!!!!
