I've used VueScan with success for quite some time with an HP PSC 2410 PhotoSmart All-In-One scanner. For example, Version 8.2.21 works fine. However, versions 8.3.x report:
No scanners were found connected to your computer...
If I go back to version 8.2.21 it works fine once again.
What has changed?

Have found problems with recent upgrades not working with my G3/400. Hamrick advise slower processors seem to have a problem. I notice earlier versions put the support files in the applications folder but newer versions use the preferences folder. Don't know enough about G3/G4 architecture to venture an opinion. If you're a new customer its fine because will not run, but if you're upgrading it would be a good idea to check functionality before overwriting the previous version. Hamrick don't keep archives of older versions. Works ok on G4/1.2G ok.Reply to This
