Product Platform: MacOS

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

My iitial trial of 3.0b 352 was extremely disappointing due to the fact that printing of web pages has a major bug. All text is converted into prism like colored bars and no letters appear! Graphics do print fine however. Attempts to change various settings so far have not remedied the problem. Also, I have had 3 instances of freeze up (running System 9.1) so far. It may be necessary to watch the taxi graphic box in the upper right to assure it is no longer moving before hitting return, I will know more in the next few sessions.

However, the printing problem renders this useless for the vast bulk of my browsing.

Speed seems just a little slower than IE 5.1, however, IE has some pages it does not like and will not load, whereas, iCab handles all of these pages flawlessly so far.

Will not print text - Randy_Jazz

Turns out the text printing problem is a bug in Apple's QuickTime 6. After being advised of this by iCab tech support, I was able to test on another computer also on System 9, but with QuickTime5, and text prints out just fine.
