Used Product For: 6-12 months

Recommend Product: NO

I waited to upgrade from 4, because of the problems cited. So here I am on my first sync and...hung on adress sync, "The conncecton between your handheld computer and the desktop was lost. Some of your data was NOT backed up. Please check your setup and try aagin." So, I just spent the money to upgrade. I'll try it again, but I recommend extreme caution with this product at this point. They don't appear to be testing it completely.

First sync with 5.0+ - stevacon_dotmac

I didn't know if my review posted because syncing caused my open programs to become non-repsonsive. So, after force quiting I logged off and relogged on and synced again.

My second sync revealed over 200 conflicts, but upon looking at them it had to do with the category they were filed under. Missing Sync disputed my iCal category. After resolving in Missing Sync's favor it doesn't appear that I lost any data, appointments, or adresses.

It seems to take longer to sync now, but after 4 sync's there are no error logs to view and everything is working fine on my Sony Clie NX70V.
