Worked Awesome....

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

Worked awesome for about 2 weeks but has since become unstable. Now stalls while encoding. Shows the project as done, but the completed MPEG-4 is only a partial movie. I loved it, loved it, loved it while it was working but has since become unusable for me. Strange how it suddenly stopped performing the way it had when I started using it. Any ideas...?

Worked Awesome.... - Linuxophile

Did you recently upgrade OSX?
Try trashing the preferences of handbrake (~/Library/Preferences/....)
Did you try wiping handbrake out and reinstalling?
Are you trying ripping from dvd directly while before you were ripping from image? (or viceversa)
[Try first opening the dvd with dvdplayer and then quitting dvdplayer without ejecting]

(Just the usual suspects).

I've had this problem, and I hit pause, then resume, and then wait. After a few minutes, it completes and says done. Then the file becomes recognizable by Quicktime.
