When I import a csv flat file, e.g. the FARS.CSV automobile accident data, XTabulator switches the rows and columns (fields and records). Is it me, or does the developer not understand text data file format? Delimitors are not field separators, but record separators. EOL delimitors separate fields.
The usual point of reading csv files is to check for and correct data corruption, so this app needs more ability to drag and drop, insert record, delete extra separator and have the file reformat, etc. Still a long way to go, but worth pursuing.
Support for ISO and Triple-S standards for data files would make this more useful.

I'm afraid you've got that backwards. Rather, you may be basing your assessment on the format of the file you're referring to. XTabulator is designed to specifically allow you to manage any type of tabulated data file. It's important to understand that you must have some idea of the format of your tabulated data if it does not follow the standard CSV or TSV format, which it sounds like "FARS.CSV" does not.See Also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delimiter
