What changed? Why should I try again?

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: NO

So, we got a .02 update. What's changed. Nothing here, nothing at Mark/Space. I'd love to love this, but I'm not trying again on a dare. Not after what happened to me with 5.01.

Regardless of what people thought of my last comments, and I don't understand how they were "useless" to all of you, I stand by them, and swear to the full day of lost productivity I had, trying to ungarble a mess.

As always, the release notes are on the developer's site.

release notes... - Adam9

as always, they should be posted on VT or at least linked from. "This version" refers to the most current version(5.02), not the major version number.(5.x)

Or, as always, you can simply visit the developer's siteĀ and avoid making "should" an excuse for VT-related snafus. :-)

Why not give it another try? As another poster stated, back up your files, then try it. If it still doesn't work, hard-reset your handheld and go back to HotSync. It's really that simple, if you back up. Why did you "lose a whole day" trying this?

List of changes for 5.02 were not easy to find, but they are up:

I had problems with dupliate contacts with 5.01. It seems better now.

5.0.1 hosed my database too.

I had 2700+ Sync conflicts, and no reasonable way to restore.

Needs much better installation instructions if there is a way to avoid this.
