I suppose it's good enough as a simple list of information, but I'm having trouble getting past how poorly-behaved it seems to be. A couple of big no-nos right up front include the silent creation of new files right in the user's home directory, and an incorrectly-named preferences file - one that could easily be destroyed if another author were to use the same shortcut.
