Each time I try to do something there is an error about the audio engine that has unexpectedly quit. Looking at the crash report, it seems to be due to JAVA.

Sorry about the trouble -- this is definately still beta software.

The reason your error looks like a java error is simply because Java was last in the chain of events that reported your error. Most likely this has something to do with your audio hardware, but there's no way to know for sure. If you could go to "Help:Save Report" and send the logs that appear on your desktop as an attachment to support@xowave.com we can help. Please also describe your hardware.
