After 120MB giant download (not a huge game, just an app to write!!) it just quits right after starting. : (

System OS X 10.4.3 on PowerBook 1.25GHz

Sorry, No stars for that until there is a solution.

and post your problem at the Support forum so that we can help track down the problem. Obviously, it shouldn't be happening.

FWIW, it isn't just an application for writing - it is an entire office suite - and given that an install of MS Office 2004 is currently taking up over half a GB of space on my hard drive, the download size for NeoOffice/J is not unreasonable.
