I love TEPlus and have used it for years. My only, gripe (and it's a big one) is that it doesn't support Check Spelling as You Type.

You can still go under Edit/Spelling/Check Spelling (Command-/), or /Check Spelling of Selection... (Option-Command-/) to check the spelling of your work.

Personally I use Spell Catcher. It checks spelling everywhere, which I find immensely useful. I hadn't even noticed the lack of system level spell checking in Tex-Edit Plus until you pointed it out. Certainly this capability should be on Tom Bender's wish list. Write him and pester him! He likes to hear from paying users. You did pay for Tex-Edit Plus, right?
