Is another notepad application needed especially when there are already such excellent choices like Hog Bay Notebook and Devon Note? Plus, JournalX looks and behaves much like EZ Note X released back in March. It has the same Finder integration and but with many less features than EZ Note.

You overlooked the most important thing! The others apps you mentioned aren't UNIVERSA. I paid for EZ Note X and DEVONnote - and agree they're fine apps - but why haven't they upgraded to an Intel version? They're fairly simple so it shouldn't be too difficult. Sure, they WILL run, but once I experienced the incredible performance improvement with Universal apps - I won't install anything less. So thanks MacItEasy for writing a Universal app!Wednesday, October 25 2006 @ 06:48 PM PDT
