After posting earlier that I wasn't able to get it to work, the developer, Tyler, posted a quick update to version .7 and it works for me now. Amazing support, I would say.
The program quickly converted (that's relative to Quicktime I mean, converting video files is rarely truly 'quick' yet) several videos I had wanted to try, and it's very easy to use. Not hyped up as much is that this app also can create Sony PSP compatible files. I know, I know, there are apps that do that already, but it's a nice plus.
The only improvement I would suggest at this point would be how it shows the path/hireachy in the 'Saving As:' field - it seems that there's not really enough space allocated in the window to show the full path. ISquint shows the full path of Hard Drive:User:Desktop:(filename), and that didn't all fit, even with my average-length user and hard drive names. Not really a big deal, but I couldn't read what the file name was going to be. The simple and totally acceptable workaround is to specify the file name yourself using the 'change' button.
Put up a PayPal donation link, I'll throw some loot down. I'd love to see this app become the de facto standard for quickly putting videos on your iPod.
Thanks again!
