I downloaded httpmailplugin today. I was able to receive my mail but cannot send any mail. Itried a couple of ports and settings but nothings seems to work.
these are my settings:
smtpserver: HTTPMail:myac@msn.com (I also tried without @)
Authentication: httpmail
and then myuser name and password.
I appreciate your suggestions.
Thank you,
Katharina.

outgoing server port?? - Andreas..
Strange that just the account name doesn't work. Perhaps it only works that way for HoTMaiL (that's what I have) and not for msn. But, hey! you've got it working – well done. Thx 4 saying thanks!

this trick of selecting 'none' for server worked for me, too.no idea why the old outgoing mail settings stopped working for me.

Strange because for me all that gets set automagically! Anyway, try smtpserver: HTTPMail:myac (nothing more – it knows the rest!). I have 'None' for Authentication and no name or password, and "Use SSL" unchecked, but you may not like that.
