P.U.! it sucks CPU!
Why would I want to broadcast total mush? No matter what low pixel resolution my desktop is set at, or if I'm zoomed in... it all appears so horrendously compressed that NOTHING is legible.
Honestly, it's the codec and size format scale limitations built into iChat that mangles your screen... But the chunky-slow processor playback completes the total package and makes it well-roundedly worthless.
So. What's the point?
Save $10 and go to
http://sourceforge.net/projects/seminarsystem
to properly live-stream your Mac desktop.
I haven't tried it in Final Cut, so no opinion there.
