Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

in the Readme i can see: Massive CPU savings by replacing Cocoa progress bars.
But i checked out my CPU with the 4.1.2 and 4.1.7 versions, and the results are realy bad: with 4 torrents open, my 4.1.2 takes up 20-30% of CPU; instead 4.1.7 takes up to 80% of CPU! That is way too much for me, I think I'll stay with the old release.
(if you need to know it, i'm on a iMac G5 2GHz)

not a great update - goer1

I do not think you can compare CPU usage in such a simple way. With an app like this, you never know how much computing is needed to answer incoming requests, react to varying network condititions out there etc. These things can vary every second and can therefore not be reproduced or compared. When the programmer changes the way his application works he usually has a reason for it.
