If you are like me, disappointed first at some slowness while and after upgrading, be patient: after a couple of hours of use, some reboots and repairing permissions, you will notice that your system has regained its original speed (or better): no more lengthy startups, no more global sluggishness, no long time to repair permissions, even with the numerous "special permissions" now used.
True, Onyx is now broken -- Applescript error -1762 --, but I guess an update of this utility will mend it soon.

for onyx - go to the developers site and download the current beta of onyx- works fine with 10.4.3. we will have to wait for Transparent Dock however as its current version is not working since the 10.4.3 update. iTunes seems be faster - more stable when running visualizers . hats off to mac developers once again :)Reply to This
