Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: YES

When I installed Tiger back in May I soon found out that I had no internet connection through my Belkin ethernet gigabit PCI. It was recognized in the Network Port Configs but it was dimmed and could not be selected. After giving up on Belkin to update their drivers, I gave up. I have been Tigerless for months now, reverting back to Panther. I cannot use my built in ethernet port because it was damaged by lighting back in the Spring (amazingly nothing else was damaged). I have checked numerous forums for other 3rd Party PCI gigabit cards that work with Tiger and have found none. Yes, there is Airport and the local Apple Store suggested another method if I am willing to chunk out $150+. I won't do it.

My Tiger is still in the box and I guess it will be stay there.

Still no fix for 3rd party Ethernet PCI cards - MBuhmann

How can you justify giving 10.4.3 a 1-star review when you haven't even installed it and tested it?
