Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

VersionTrackerPro 3.5.3 says the current version of Norton AntiVirus (MAC) is 10.0.2. BUT LiveUpdate just updated, and only to 10.0.1. Why? The install of Norton 10.0.1, via LiveUpdate (which did not install 10.0.2 as VersionTracker says is current) via the Norton Install CD of 10.0.0 has rendered my G4 PowerBook OS 10.3.9 unstable in that the Menu Bar at the top of the screet) has become unstable and oscilates, mostely it does not show what used to show at the right third of the bar (i.e.,, not the date, not the charge indication, not SpellChecker, etc. but sometimes it very briefly does. Any suggestions on how to cure this?

Problems with the right side of the menubar can sometimes be fixed by deleting a pref file. It's in [your home]/Library/Preferences and the file to delete is com.apple.systemuiserver.plist.
