Existing users, 
I'm running Mac OS 10.4.2 and an epson C66
I'd like to know if there is any way to get printer information with this
driver. I can't view my cartidge supply levels, and I can't do head cleaning
either. Does Gutenprint not support that?

This should be installed as part of the gurnprint package (sometimes missing with the 9pre-releases). If you run this utility in terminal, you can nozzle check, head clean, etc.Sunday, January 22 2006 @ 04:32 AM PST

That problem was the very reason I've stuck with the Epson drivers. You CAN install this set of drivers and the Epson too and switch over to the Epson driver when you need to clean the print heads, though. Not as elegant as just using one driver, but it gets the job done.Reply to This
