I don't normally write bad reviews, nor attention-grabbing headings like that above, but in this case, I have to make an exception. After installing the latest Mac OS X (10.4.2) update, my Finder began repeatedly quiting and restarting every two minutes. After much digging on the Web, I was able to determine that the problem was StuffIt's folder-watch feature. Completely wiping StuffIt Deluxe 10.0.0 (requiring manually removing some files) and then reinstalling StuffIt fixed the problem.

Until I upgraded to StuffIt Deluxe 10.0.1. Now the problem's back. And now I can't find the troubleshooting forum that discussed the problem, nor the instructions for removing, or I'd provide links for you. The good news is that it appears that StuffIt Deluxe's installer will do the trick, too.

All I can say is: caveat emptor. This software is not worth the money.
