Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

VersionTracker for windows tracks software installed on a windows computer.
VersionTracker for mac tracks software installed on a mac computer.
VersionTracker for mobile is some sort of java RSS news reader aggregator that lets you read news about updated software for mac, windows and os 9.

So just to clarify- VersionTracker mobile does NOT track versions of installed software on your celly.

totally counterintuitive, misleading and worthless.

nothing can track them except your device - Ilgaz

No java application can "check" the version of other java application because of security model of java.

In java (ME etc) every application runs in their own "sandbox" and can't read other applications data.

Thats why lots of phones/devices have their own "check for update" mechanism or the update is built into product itself.
