I'm deeply sorry!! There is a bug/error in the new installers for Qt 3.3.5 and 4.0.1. Due to the compiled SQL-support, the Qt-library looks up mysqlclient-library during startup -> libmysqlclient.14.dylib in the folder /usr/local/lib/mysql . If this is not found, any started application which uses the Qt-lib will shut down (You should see a related entry in the console crashreporter log of the app). I'm fixing the installers - for all that downloaded one of the Qt-installers already - an archive of the missing lib is available at http://naranja.umh.es/~atg/copy-...l-lib- mysql.zip
Dearchive and copy the folder to /usr/local/lib. again: I'm sorry.
nota bene: apparently this is just a check/dependency on the Qt-library startup.
cheers,
Markus Bongard
