I like Power64 but there is one feature missing that is keeping me from registering. It lacks any communication functions. VICE (the free Commodore emulator, see: http://www.viceteam.org/) has a 'virtual modem' which is patched through to TCP/IP on your computer allowing you to connect to Internet-accessible bulletin boards (see: http://www.orrville.net/telbbs/) and things like the resurrected Quantum Link service (see: http://www.quantum-link.org/). Power64 won't be a fully functional emulator until this fearture is added and then I'll happily register.

An excellent suggestion and as it happens, my friend sent email to the author a few months ago requesting communications functionality and the author said he didn't have enough time to add in such features. Oh well. Maybe he'll find time someday.Monday, October 24 2005 @ 09:20 PM PDT

You should communicate this to the developer and not just post this here. My experience is the developer is quite receptive to such requests.Reply to This
