Almost perfect but...

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

I like Power64 but there is one feature missing that is keeping me from registering. It lacks any communication functions. VICE (the free Commodore emulator, see: http://www.viceteam.org/) has a 'virtual modem' which is patched through to TCP/IP on your computer allowing you to connect to Internet-accessible bulletin boards (see: http://www.orrville.net/telbbs/) and things like the resurrected Quantum Link service (see: http://www.quantum-link.org/). Power64 won't be a fully functional emulator until this fearture is added and then I'll happily register.

You should communicate this to the developer and not just post this here. My experience is the developer is quite receptive to such requests.

An excellent suggestion and as it happens, my friend sent email to the author a few months ago requesting communications functionality and the author said he didn't have enough time to add in such features. Oh well. Maybe he'll find time someday.
