So far so good on the basic working. other (free) FTP Clients offer cool things like the column view (like finder), but I don't see it here (yet). But- so far this thing works fine for me. BUT- will it later???
The only complaint is that about a year ago I paid a lot of money for this program. It worked for about a month and then stopped working. I emailed support and sent the logs and nothing. There was a LONG time without any updates from this company. actually, nothing from them. I needed a FTP Client that works. I went to download some free one and it worked. I'm not going to list the other because I don't want to be misconstrued as anything other than a consumer. So finally, this company releases an update. This is it... it finally works... BUT THOSE OF US THAT GOT SCREWED BEFORE HAVE TO PAY TO UPDATE!!!
my advice- buy something else.

When you say you paid a lot of money, do you mean you paid more than the list price? I don't get it. I've been using Fetch for years and years and years, and even though there are newer, sexier FTP clients out there, I keep coming back to Fetch because it works. I've had a couple of questions about problems with servers over the years, and Fetch tech support has always gotten back to me in a timely manner with good information. Plus, it integrates with BBEdit. What more could you ask for, except Mirroring, and it does that, too.Monday, January 02 2006 @ 07:36 PM PST

Column view isn't "like the Finder." It's not default. It's a NeXT coder's idea of Heaven, my idea of hell. ;)Tuesday, January 03 2006 @ 02:32 AM PST
