Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

So far so good on the basic working. other (free) FTP Clients offer cool things like the column view (like finder), but I don't see it here (yet). But- so far this thing works fine for me. BUT- will it later???

The only complaint is that about a year ago I paid a lot of money for this program. It worked for about a month and then stopped working. I emailed support and sent the logs and nothing. There was a LONG time without any updates from this company. actually, nothing from them. I needed a FTP Client that works. I went to download some free one and it worked. I'm not going to list the other because I don't want to be misconstrued as anything other than a consumer. So finally, this company releases an update. This is it... it finally works... BUT THOSE OF US THAT GOT SCREWED BEFORE HAVE TO PAY TO UPDATE!!!

my advice- buy something else.

my time is off... it was a couple of years ago. bought it... worked for a month and then stopped. (sorry- at home sick with a cold or flu)

regardless, I paid for something that didn't work and there were no updates.

When you say you paid a lot of money, do you mean you paid more than the list price? I don't get it. I've been using Fetch for years and years and years, and even though there are newer, sexier FTP clients out there, I keep coming back to Fetch because it works. I've had a couple of questions about problems with servers over the years, and Fetch tech support has always gotten back to me in a timely manner with good information. Plus, it integrates with BBEdit. What more could you ask for, except Mirroring, and it does that, too.

Column view isn't "like the Finder." It's not default. It's a NeXT coder's idea of Heaven, my idea of hell. ;)
