What does this give you?

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: NO

Type any fraction (as a division operation) into OS X's Calculator, and you get the decimal equivalent. You can then easily copy and paste the result. And that works with ANY fraction, not just the ones pre-selected here.

What does this give you? - OfficeRocker

Good question, scott-r.

True, you can do that with calculator, but if the fraction you want is on here, you save several keystrokes and the act of copying the result – one click is all it takes. Plus, I find myself sometimes just wanting a reference of increments. With Decimator, I can do that at a glance. Calculator would require a lot of typing.

I wrote this for my own use and decided maybe it would benefit some others. If you find calculator easier, feel free to stick with it!
