1.1 v36 was last stable version for me

Feedback Type:  Review

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Not only does version 1.2 (v44) and (v43) reset feed queues, I have had problems with the interface no longer advancing the feeds as it should.

I repeatedly find that these versions of Newfire refuse to advance to the next article when the spacebar is pressed. They work for 4 or five articles, then I am forced to click one of the feed groupings on the left for a new article to load. About 4 or 5 articles later, it again refuses to advance. Fortunately, I have gotten in the habit of archiving version 1.1 (v36). I revert to it and things return to normal.

The author has not responded to my email regarding the problem. Not by email, and more importantly, not by releasing a fix. Can't recommend the latest revisions, but have loved the program up until then.
