Apple iTunes is the best I have never tested or used. It’s safe and secure. You know it can be trusted made by one of the best computer companies ever.
To reply to the below comments:
I have tested the new Apple iTunes on several PC systems and have found no problems. Please retry installing the CD Driver but iTunes is least likely to have caused that.
The comment about it destroying your internet connection this is very unlikely and you should check before making a comment to that stranded.
I look forword to the next update of Apple iTunes.

Does anyone know what it means when iTunes stops recording when you pressthe IMPORT button on trying to rip a CD?
I can import the data from the CD successfully but when I press the import
button, it doesnt import the tracks at all.
All it does is to zip through them doing something to that data in about a
half second a track.
It then reports a tick by each track with all its music supposedly imported
When I switch to the library, mysteriously it doesn't show any track length
(because it hasnt imported any music) and obviously cant play the tracks
from the library.
These problems started when I went into iTunes one day and was told that
something had corrupted something or other on the CD reading side and that I
could correct this by reinstalling iTunes
When I did, it worked properly and started to import the CD. But at track
15, it suddenly stopped with the error message that there was suddenly no CD
there.
After that it hasn't RECORDED any CDs at all, merely taken the data off each
one I put in and stored it in its database in the way I have mentioned

There has been evidence that some Sony-brand CD's have been built with a Windows "rootkit" that screws up a lot of things for some Windows and even Mac (using SunnComm's DRM software)... here is a web site that talks about the issue: (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/11/10/sony_drm_trojan/)I'm not saying this is what happened to you, but just to be safe, check your CD, its label, and the internet. Google: SONY DRM TROJAN

I installed 5.0 on my Windows HP medias center computer. What a mistake! There support was completely useless. I can't access any of the music I PAID for through Itunes. I am not the only one as I later found out that had troubles with 5.0 the couldn't be resolved. I am completely turned of by their products and after this experience I will avoid Apple products completely. They should have tested their product better with PC's before they turned it loose on an unsuspecting public who is used to quality products that work correctly. Download 6.0 not in your life!Wednesday, November 02 2005 @ 02:37 PM PST

I am CERTAINLY experiencing the dead internet problem. If I start Itunes from my wireless laptop, my connection speed starts dropping from 54 to 24 to 18 to 11 to 2 to 1 to 0 over about 1 minute. Then my laptop will not see any access points until I reboot. Same thing is happening to my wired desktop, the network just dies!
I have tried going back to early Novemebr to eliminate XP security patches, etc. I just started getting this two days ago, but had not ran Itunes since 12-8-05.
This issue is being posted elsewhere and even got a call in to Leo Laporte's KFI Tech guy show.

I love iTunes but hate 5.0 and 6.0 since I can no longer burn CDs. When I saw 6.0 I thought this would correct the problem but to no avail. It cannot recognize my CD burner although I burned CDs under 4.x without a problem. I am on Windows XP. Any advice on how to correct this problem?Reply to This
