RB2005 is far from perfect, but caution should be used when reading some of the reviews here.

R4 is an emergency maintenance release to address certain problems introduced in R3. No new features were planned for this release as it was thought to be more important to fix a serious (but unforseen) issue which cropped up accidentally with R3. The issue (external project items) didn't affect everyone, but for those it did it was tragic and was a disaster.

Potential customers and users of RB need to keep in mind that RB has had (4) updates in (4) months. The first three introduced new features and benefits.

I have publicly stated here, and on the lists, that I'm not too fond of the new interface but I recognize and understand at least that in order for RB to have some of the features it now has, a paradigm shift was in order.

This *is* the best version yet, and the next one will prove to be even better.
