Straight to the point

Feedback Type:  Usage Tip

Contributed by: macanics Friday, October 14 2005 @ 04:30 AM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Don't jump through the hoops, download the full installer (it's about 21MB)

http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/mac/7x/7.0.5/enu/AdbeRdr705_enu_full.dmg

For other localisations: follows the main download link, but then copy the 'alternative download' link and adjust the URL as required (I simply removed the text '_DLM' from the filename)

Straight to the point - macdad614

The posted link, http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/mac/7x/7.0.5/enu/AdbeRdr705_enu_full.dmg, begins the DL IMMEDIATELY. This is NOT something I can do on dial-up until other computer tasks have been completed due to the 21MB size. It also means it needs to be stored in a text file for later since it cannot be bookmarked.
