I upgraded, and everything works fine, looks fine, and behaves as usual with third party multiple library apps (like the fantastic shareware iTunes Library Manager). What is improved and noticably different is the new video entry and, I imagine, integration with the new round of video-capable ipods. My videos look great, are thumbnailed from closer to the middle (as to avoid plain black or white previews), and work no matter the format (quicktime/plugin compatible). That pleases me. I'm not aware of any changes to the drm policy, only it's code to include new rights assigned to videos. As far as I can tell, as an avid iTunes Music purchaser since the store's inception, they've balanced the needs of the consumer and the needs of the creator better than anyone, and I have no problem sharing my music between my three computers native and others locally through sharing, as well as a Motorola ROKR E1, two shuffles, and to second generation 20G iPods.
Cool beans.

Version: 8.0.2
A full point update? Maybe not. But it's free and improves video handling...
